How is the strength of the commander determined? I've seen different values of it for the same rank/xp.

I've been wondering the same too. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I would reckon its based on your current soldierconfiguration, your XP and win/loss status. But thats just a guess

More battles is more strentgh and hp. So if you have 2 major generals and one did mostly city attacks and the other mostly villages. Then the one doing villages will defeat the one doing city attacks in 1 on 1 combat.

Ive been trying to work this out between myself and a couple friends. But since we play similarly we end up with similar stats. I am a General with about 18k exp and have 298 hp and 51 str.
I have spied an enemie commander of a higher rank with about equal hp, but 61 str. Of couse i could have been mistaken, but i was pretty sure it was 61 str.
