I like the fortress a lot. I see 3 viable options: -TNSe's sugg of paying a week's worth for a troop, so it goes into the garrison permanently -ultramanking's sugg of a linear cost up to a limit to improve the base defense by a % -or: a logarithmic scale like in games like Dominion: you pump gold into the 'castle', which improves, but improvements get costlier and costlier untill they plateau; e.g. the first 1% costs 10k, the second 12k, and to go from 23 to 24 takes a few hundred k gold. I'm not mathy enough to suggest a proper algorithm, but they're available

I like the idea of TNS. If that gets implemented i surely will go to a howitser country. Imagine the face of a officer that tries to take a town and gets butchered because there are 50 extra howitsers in the garnison. Hilaric

howabout an airport, where you can board a plane to a far away city, thus eliminating those useless taxis that goes offline permanently, it should cost some gold and moves as well btw..
